Open Weave

Mrs. Smith's daughter, Myra Greenbird, made baskets with an unusual weave, similar to an old berry basket hanging in a neighbor's barn. Volney Jones drew the pattern of this weave in his notes. Two of Myra Greenbird's baskets are featured in this exhibit (UMMAA 13978 and 13980).
