This long shield is wide at the top and narrows towards the bottom. The top of the shield is cut, leaving 3 points projecting above the solid field. The middle point is longer & thinner than the other two. A handle has been carved in the back -- made out of the same piece of wood. Above the handle, 3 strips of rattan have been tied around the shield and six bamboo arrowheads are stuck underneath (c through h). Below the handle are 4 rattan straps and 1 arrowhead is attached (b). Also has rattan wrapped around the long point.

Different arrowheads fit into the shield and have tapered ends for hafting (attaching to a spear or arrow)
