Kalinga Shield This long shield is wide at the top and narrows towards the bottom. The top of the shield is cut, leaving 3 points projecting above the solid field. The middle point is longer & thinner than the other two. A handle has been carved in the back -- made out of the same piece of wood. Above the handle, 3 strips of rattan have been tied around the shield and six bamboo arrowheads are stuck underneath (c through h). Below the handle are 4 rattan straps and 1 arrowhead is attached (b). Also has rattan wrapped around the long point.

Walking Stick Long wooden shaft tapering to a point. The lower end of the walking stick is sharpened. The upper end is carved with the sculpture of an 'anito head.' The head has a circular head dress, and beads (most likely made of seeds) are inlayed as the eyes of the anito.

Philippine Flag A large, rectangular tri-color banner. The top is a larger equilateral triangle pointed downwards with a piece of red and blue on two sides to create a rectangle. The item is machine sown, and written on the white triangle are the words "KABINATAANG BALIWAG"; "BAYAN"; and "MAGBANGON"

Laruan sa Bata This set consists of four ceramic pieces: a floored miniature stove with three cleats to support a pot or frying pan; an orange, round-bodied miniature cooking pot with flared rim; an orange miniature frying pan with handle; and an orange lid for the miniature cooking pot with a decorated knob handle

Turtle Shell Salakot The inside of this turtle shell hat has been lined with a piece of natural colored cotton cloth decorated with line drawings of flowers in brown. This cloth is overlaid by wide strips of crisis crossing rattan which form a hexagonal pattern. These strips are secured to the rim of the hate by a piece of wood which has been nailed to the hat. In the center of the hat, a band of rattan for the wearers head has been secured to the hat by three interconnected loops of rattan which ring the band. It has aa chin strap attached to the inside made of linked metal rings (chain). It is attached to the rattan by black cotton cord. A length of white cotton cord is also attached to the chain.
